.The Start.
They have changed our lives... They have won the heart of the Nation... Those who I am speaking of our America's horses, We all have different types of riding, different styles, and things like that... And one special place offers all those things! Long Lane Stables This special place is a Training Faciluty and Stables for every single kind of horse and/or pony! It is located the Outerbanks of Maine nestled in the rolling hills... The family ((The Macalisters)) who own this lovely stables are trained for the best. Quinn and Jessica Macalister are the daughters of the owners and love to help ride and train all the horses at their stables. They have a brother Nick Macalister, who loves riding horses but isn't to to good at training them, he is also the head stable hand there. It was decided to have a huge stable, after Quinn's tragic inncident, concerning her sister Jessica, and her horse Magic. Quinn and Jessica were hacking on one the the stable trails hen it was snowing, a big flock of birds came out of no where and spooked Magic, Quinn was bucked off but her Ankle was caught in the stirrup... Quinn was dragged for about a few 100 feet untill Jessica finally caught Magic. You might think "Why would the family decide to get a big stable after this?" Well this ((to Quinn)) strengthened her around horses, so begging her parents to extend their stables, they finally did. From then on the Macalister family has been training and working with all the riders that have come to the stable, will your future hold great results? How will Long Lane Stables help you? Come Find Out!

The sound of gravel crunching echoed in her ears. Summer made her way across the stable yard. She had arrived less then a hour ago and had not seen anyone. Its like a ghost town. A light blanket of fog covered the pastures and seemed to engulf all the horses in the pasture. Reaching the barn she took one final glance around the yard. No one. Disappearing into the barn Summer peered into every stall. Each equine seemed to be an eventer or hunter. Maybe it was a mistake bringing Rita here. Her parents had warned her that all the horses here would be well trained show horses. She really did not care, Summer was always a rebel, this may not be that rabelais but bringing a saddle seat horse here seemed like it was a little. Yeah Rita was being trained hunt seat right now but that was not the point.

continued her walk down the aisle she noticed a few western horses but nothing like Rita. A load whinnie shattered the silence. A smile tugged at her lips as she looked up and saw Rita's elegant head hanging over her door. Ears perked toward Summer, her soft chocolate brown eyes holding the same sadness as Summers. "I guess we both don't fit in here." She whispered as she stroked the mares head. Slipping into the mares stall Summer wrapped her arms around Rita's neck and took in the sweet smell of horse. Her mind reeling with the events leading up to her being here. Pulling back Summer gave Rita one final pat and slipped out of the stall. "I'll be back in a bit." She said over her shoulder as she made her way out of the barn.

Walking into the lounge, she noticed that again no one was around. What is with this place? Grabbing Horse Illustrated from the coffee table, she leaned back on the couch and flipped threw the pages. Luckily for her there was a section on green horses. She was only half reading the article. She was really worried about how Rita would look hunt seat now that she had on shoes with weight in them. Her parents had them put on before she left. They were always complaining that Rita could lift her feet up higher. Sinking deeper into the couch Summer played with the thought of riding later. Shacking away all her thoughts she tried to concentrate on the article.
